The Fitment Registry.

"Will this head fit my handle?" is the most-asked, worst-answered buying question in oral care — manufacturer tables cover only their own brand, and marketplace listings contradict each other. This registry answers it one way: we restate what each manufacturer's own documentation says, link the source, and date the check. Nothing here is guessed.

15 compatibility answers · Philips Sonicare · Oral-B · Waterpik · quip · every one sourced & dated

Philips Sonicare

Philips publishes a full compatibility table. Almost every modern Sonicare handle takes the same click-on heads — but Philips One and the old screw-on lines are separate systems that do not interchange with it. Kids heads are the asymmetric case: Philips says they fit all click-on handles too, but the Kids handles themselves only take kids heads.

Oral-B

Oral-B's published rule is the simplest in the category: every standard head fits every rechargeable handle — except the iO and Pulsonic lines, which standard heads do not fit. iO takes only its own heads.

flosser tips · 8 entries

Waterpik

The messiest lineup of the four. Tips are NOT universal: countertop and cordless take different Precision tips, several specialty tips exclude whole product lines, and the Sidekick has its own dedicated tip.

quip

quip's refill heads cover all original quip sonic handles, metal and plastic, adult and kids. We currently list no Amazon pick for quip refills — rows here are reference-only.

How this registry works

Every fit-relation is restated in our own words from a manufacturer's published documentation — a compatibility page, a product page, or an official guide — captured and dated on the day we checked it. Our build system refuses to publish a row that lacks a source. Where a manufacturer publishes a general rule instead of a per-model table, the row says so (Manufacturer rule); where the source is vague, we render the vagueness rather than resolve it by guessing.

We are not dentists, and fitment is not dental advice — it is a product fact with a paper trail. Some rows link the brand's own replacement part on Amazon (marked as affiliate links); rows with no listing that clears our review floor simply have nothing to buy. The fit facts stand either way.

Philips Sonicare, Oral-B, Waterpik, and quip are trademarks of their respective owners. Dental Roundup is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them — we cite their published documentation. Compatibility documentation changes; each row shows the date we last checked its source. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
