A Dental Roundup column

We asked an AI what to buy for your teeth — then we checked every receipt

Why this column exists

When you ask an AI assistant "what's the best whitening kit," it stitches an answer together from whatever it finds — independent testing, brand marketing, dentist-office blogs, forum threads — and delivers it with uniform confidence. Some of what it says checks out. Some doesn't. The only way to know which is which is to do the boring work: capture the answer, isolate every checkable claim, and chase each one to a primary source.

We are not dentists and we never grade medical advice — only product facts: what a product is, what an award or seal actually says, what a cited source actually wrote. Every verdict shows its receipt, and our build system refuses to publish any engine quote that doesn't match our dated capture archive verbatim.

This column contains no affiliate links. Some products mentioned are ones we review — and may earn commissions on — elsewhere on the site; the grades here don't care.
